The Ptarmigan Ladies Golf Association (PLGA) welcomes you to join us for a season full of fun, friendship, and great golf! New members and renewing members are invited to join the PLGA by going to ForeTees under Events and registering for BOTH PLGA membership and a GHIN Handicap. Membership dues for the PLGA are $40 and GHIN registration is $60. League play is every Wednesday: 18-hole as well as morning and evening 9-hole play is offered. Events this season will include skills clinics, member / guest days, Ptarmigan Double Cup Classic, the Club Championship, a season-long team match play competition, and several other fun PLGA tournaments throughout the season! The Clinics are designed exclusively to help students hit their short game shots properly and more consistently. Improving your skills around the green; your chipping, pitching and bunker play, will undoubtedly lower your scores. These short game clinics focus keenly on a system of essential skills and techniques that helps golfers understand:
1) Proper fundamentals and mechanics in the golf swing
2) How to hit their short game shots closer to the pin
3) Ways to practice on their own to keep improving their game at their own pace
4) How to take this practice confidently to the course time and again.
